OpenWare Architects is a software design and consulting firm dedicated to assisting academic researchers manage their study data efficiently and cost effectively.  Our open source software application FORMS (Forms-Oriented Research Management System) is designed to be a flexible and scalable web-based solution for electronic data capture (EDC) and data management.


Unlike most existing data management solutions geared towards large-scale data centers engaged in clinical trials, our software is aimed directly at academic researchers contucting a wide range of studies in small-to-medium sized research labs.  FORMS is designed with flexibility in mind to allow for management of the widest possible range of studies.


FORMS is a freely available open source software application hosted by SourceForge.net.  As a business we are committed to providing services for researchers utilizing our products within their labs.  We have multiple services available to assist users in leveraging the full power of our system to capture and manage their data.


FORMS is currently available as an Alpha (pre-production) release.  We welcome and appreciate any feedback and suggestions you may have to help us move forward and develop the most effective tool possible for the benefit of the academic research community.
